AS-BUILT PLANS ANDÂ DRAFTING
Many clients, including developers, realtors, and contractors request my services for as-built measurements and related plans on properties they already own OR are looking to acquire and renovate. I've created as-built plans for spaces from as little as 1,000 sq. ft. to 100,000 sq. ft.+
ABOUT ME
If you are planning a renovation, new construction project, or interior improvement, I can assist with many aspects of the design process — from space planning to final interior details. Past projects have included commercial and institutional environments, medical and professional offices, light industrial projects, restaurants, retail spaces, as well as student housing and residential developments,

My goal is to help create environments that support both functionality and well-being through thoughtful, practical design solutions.

After graduating with a BFA in Interior Design from James Madison University in 2005, I worked in both a large architectural firm in Washington, DC, as well as a local design-build construction company. I received my NCIDQ certification in 2008. Kate Phillips Design was established in 2011.

Whether helping a client develop a design that reflects their unique style and purpose, refreshing an existing space through thoughtful planning and selection of furnishings and finishes, or working on a completely new project, my focus is on creating spaces that are both functional and meaningful to those who use them
Interior renderings can help translate design concepts into visual form, allowing clients to better understand how a space will look and feel before construction and installation are complete
